Position Overview

We are pleased to announce a remarkable opportunity within our Urology division for a Patient Pathway Manager to join our Andrology team.

The successful candidate will oversee the administrative functions related to patient treatment pathways, ensuring a seamless and effective service for both the multidisciplinary team and patients. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional administrative support, enhancing patient experiences, and providing outstanding customer service.

Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with experience in database management and proficiency in Excel. The ideal individual will be proactive, take ownership of their responsibilities, and manage a substantial workload efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

This is a full-time role that involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical and administrative team. Person Specification

Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum of GCSE level education or equivalent, with Grade C or above in English and Mathematics.
  • Familiarity with administrative processes, gained through training and/or prior experience in an administrative role.
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and knowledge of the Data Protection Act.

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, Customer Service, Healthcare Support Services, or a related qualification.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience in a customer-facing, non-routine environment, demonstrating the ability to respond to inquiries and manage unpredictable situations effectively.
  • Previous experience within the NHS or a healthcare setting.
