Job Title: Patient Transport Liaison Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Transport Liaison Officer to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation of patients across our network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with hospital wards, outpatient units, and bed managers to ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Provide on-site presence and support to our operations team, ensuring that patient transport services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Attend meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Assist operational managers with issues that arise throughout the day, ensuring that patient transport services are not disrupted.
  • Deal with patient enquiries and questions, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that patient needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a healthcare or hospital setting, with a thorough understanding of patient transport services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient transport services.
  • Physical fitness for patient moving and handling, with a full manual UK driving licence and less than 6 penalty points.
