Job Title: Patient Transport Liaison Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Transport Liaison Officer to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation of patients across our network of hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital staff, patients, and families to ensure seamless transportation services.
  • Collaborate with operational managers to forecast and manage patient flow, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with bed managers and EMED managers to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient transportation.
  • Assist with patient flow management, identifying and mitigating potential bottlenecks and delays.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a healthcare or transportation setting, with a strong understanding of patient flow and transportation logistics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and patient satisfaction.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift and move patients as required.
  • Full manual UK driving license with less than 6 penalty points.
