Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team at NHS Fife. As a Medical Secretary, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support within the Acute Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to medical staff, including preparing and maintaining patient records, correspondence, and reports.
- Manage and coordinate appointments, meetings, and other events.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Utilize Microsoft packages to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Proven secretarial and administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Competent audio typing skills and working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
