Position Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to a diverse team of professionals. This includes managing information systems and coordinating the clinical referral process. The role requires collaboration within the team while also necessitating the ability to work independently, exercising initiative and adaptability in daily decision-making on behalf of the department.

Key Qualifications

  • RSA3/SVQ3/NC in Secretarial Studies or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proficient in IT, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Capability to perform under pressure.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar secretarial role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working towards or possessing ECDL or an equivalent certification.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or social care environment.
  • Experience in managing sensitive information.

Employment Details

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 37 hours per week.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be part of the Community Mental Health Team.
