Role Responsibilities

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in our Aether Hospitality Team, ensuring our guests receive the finest culinary experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet the highest standards.
  • Guiding Commis Chefs in their daily tasks and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Upholding food quality and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
  • Preparing and cooking dishes according to the established menu and operational procedures.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and managing orders to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining necessary documentation.
  • Assisting in the training of new staff to uphold our high standards of service and presentation.
Qualifications for Success

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • NVQ Level 2 Commis Chef or equivalent qualifications.
  • A background in high-end hospitality with a proven track record of excellence.
  • Experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef, ready to advance in their career.
  • Advanced skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and quality control.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Understanding of supply chain management and sustainable kitchen practices.

Work Schedule: Flexibility is essential, as shifts may begin as early as 3:00 AM and conclude as late as 10:30 PM. Aether operates seven days a week.
