Aether, located at Manchester Airport, is our exclusive private terminal designed to enhance every aspect of the airport journey. With a focus on premium service, Aether provides a serene environment, exquisite culinary offerings, and dedicated staff to ensure a seamless travel experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Guide and mentor Commis Chefs in their daily tasks, fostering a collaborative kitchen environment.
  • Manage inventory and liaise with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels of food and supplies.
  • Uphold food quality and safety standards, implementing best practices in health and safety.
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the established menu and operational procedures.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assist in training new staff, ensuring adherence to high standards of presentation and service.

Qualifications for Success

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • NVQ Level 2 Commis Chef or equivalent qualifications.
  • A solid background in the hospitality sector with experience in high-end service delivery.
  • Proven skills in food production and preparation techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling and storing food.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships within the team.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and culinary excellence.

Working Hours

Flexibility is essential, as shifts may start as early as 3:00 AM and conclude as late as 10:30 PM. Aether operates seven days a week.
