Compensation: £14.75 per hour (inclusive of 17.5% shift allowance)

Aether, previously known as PremiAir, is MAG's exclusive private terminal, designed to enhance every aspect of the airport experience. With a focus on luxury and comfort, Aether offers a meticulously curated menu and dedicated service, ensuring a seamless and elevated travel experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Guide and mentor Commis Chefs in their daily tasks, fostering a collaborative kitchen environment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Implement and uphold health and safety standards within the kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the established menu and operational procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage orders, and ensure proper food storage practices.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assist in training new staff to uphold our high standards of service and presentation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • NVQ Level 2 Commis Chef or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
  • Experience in high-end hospitality settings with a proven track record of excellence.
  • Demonstrated culinary skills and techniques in food preparation.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for product handling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • A commitment to teamwork and exceptional customer service.

Working Hours

Flexibility is essential, as shifts may begin as early as 3:00 AM and conclude as late as 10:30 PM. Aether operates seven days a week.
