Key Responsibilities

As a Culinary Supervisor, you will play a vital role in our Aether Hospitality Team, ensuring our guests receive an exceptional start to their journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Guiding Commis Chefs in their daily tasks and fostering a collaborative kitchen environment.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
  • Preparing and cooking food according to the established menu and operational procedures.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and managing orders, ensuring proper storage and rotation of products.
  • Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Training new staff members to uphold our high standards of service and presentation.
Qualifications for Success

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • NVQ Level 2 Commis Chef or equivalent qualifications.
  • A solid background in the hospitality sector with a track record of delivering high-quality service.
  • Experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef, ready to advance in their career.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
  • A collaborative mindset, capable of building effective relationships within the team.
  • Excellent food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • A commitment to outstanding customer service and team leadership.

Work Schedule: Flexibility is essential, as shifts may start as early as 3:00 AM and finish as late as 10:30 PM. Aether operates seven days a week.
