Exciting Opportunity at Flowbird Transport Intelligence

Flowbird Transport Intelligence is actively looking for a skilled Bid Manager to oversee bid management and tendering initiatives across the UK+ Region, which encompasses the UK, Ireland, Nordics, Middle East, South Africa, and Australia. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping solutions, generating content, and managing bid submissions, thereby playing a vital role in our business expansion within a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to formulate proposals and direct the response strategy for bids.
  • Examine specifications, pinpoint feasibility criteria, and steer the response team towards our solutions.
  • Oversee the bid process from inception to completion, ensuring timely submissions and high-quality outputs.
  • Engage closely with Product and R&D teams to advocate for solutions that fulfill customer requirements.
  • Prepare bid documentation, assess costs, and facilitate client meetings and presentations.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Track bid opportunities and maintain a repository of bid content for future use.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure comprehensive and cohesive bid responses.
  • Draft bid response content and keep accurate records of bid activities.
  • Experience
    Background in smart ticketing and payment systems is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in Bid Management with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with formal tendering processes.
  • Core Skills
    Expertise in drafting tender briefs and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication abilities.
  • Location and Travel
    This position is based in Poole, Dorset, with occasional travel required throughout the UK and internationally.
