Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our team at Bourne Construction Engineering. As a leading specialist in steel construction, we are looking for a professional with a strong background in bid management, estimation, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage tenders and client requirements, working closely with our supply chain to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and engineers to secure orders and meet project objectives.
  • Collaborate with our commercial team to ensure accurate tender pricing and commercial understanding.
  • Provide commercial and contractual guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with specifications, steel products, and steel construction standards.
  • Contribute to the development of our bid strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bid management, estimation, or project coordination, preferably in the steel construction industry.
  • Strong commercial and contractual understanding, with the ability to analyze and interpret tender documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
