Overview of the Facilities Management Trainee Program:
We are looking for a Facilities Management Trainee to be part of our expanding organization.

The ideal candidate will work at a key client location, gaining firsthand experience in Facilities Management (FM) within a regulated research and development setting, including laboratories.

This role offers the chance to undertake various FM placements throughout the UK, collaborating with diverse stakeholders such as project management teams, safety and compliance specialists, FM service providers, and client representatives, while building a network across different business units.

The Facilities Management Trainee will receive comprehensive training, a tailored personal development plan, and a fully funded 2-year IWFM qualification.

Facilities Management Trainee Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):


Collaborating with Project Managers on essential areas such as asset management, health and safety in a regulated setting, change management, and continuous improvement.

Utilizing Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems for data entry, information analysis, reporting, and process enhancement.


Providing helpdesk support through the CAFM system, which includes responding to incoming requests and prioritizing resources in accordance with Service Level Agreements, as well as client communication and updates.

Coordinating client and team meetings, managing information, and reporting (using Power BI), along with gathering feedback and managing responses.


Conducting service audits in collaboration with the Technical Compliance Manager and FM provider, focusing primarily on soft services such as cleaning, security, and grounds maintenance, and using audit results to inform progress reports and delegate actions.

Analyzing performance, making recommendations, and generating reports.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
A degree (or equivalent), preferably with a 2:2 or higher; ideally in a business or technical discipline.

Strong proficiency in technology and IT.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Robust project management capabilities.

Proven innovative thinking to facilitate process improvement.

Able to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.

Excellent organizational skills.

Awareness of health and safety protocols.

Ability to adapt to a controlled environment with strict safety and quality standards.

Salary:
£27,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
