Role Summary:
We are looking for a Facilities Management Graduate Trainee to be part of our dynamic team at Myfm Ltd. The selected candidate will have the chance to engage in various FM placements across the UK, collaborating with diverse stakeholders such as project management teams, safety and compliance specialists, FM service providers, and client representatives. The Facilities Management Graduate Trainee will receive comprehensive training, a tailored personal development plan, and a fully funded 2-year IWFM qualification, paving the way for a rewarding career in the FM sector.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on critical areas including asset management, health and safety protocols in regulated settings, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) tools for data entry, information analysis, reporting, and process enhancement.
  • Provide helpdesk support through the CAFM system, managing incoming requests and prioritizing resources in accordance with Service Level Agreements, while maintaining client communication and updates.
  • Coordinate client and team meetings, manage information flow, and generate reports using Power BI, along with gathering feedback and managing responses.
  • Conduct service audits in partnership with the Technical Compliance Manager and FM service providers, focusing on soft services such as cleaning, security, and grounds maintenance, using audit results to inform progress and delegate actions.
  • Analyze performance metrics, formulate recommendations, and produce detailed reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A degree (or equivalent) with a preference for a 2:2 or higher, ideally in a business or technical discipline.
  • Proficient in technology and IT applications.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Proven innovative thinking to facilitate process improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations.
  • Capacity to adapt to a controlled environment with strict safety and quality standards.
