Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Kingfisher School. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the estates and facilities function across the school, including organizing contractors and undertaking repairs and site maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estates and facilities management, with experience of managing budgets and understanding estates spending trends. They will also have skills in all aspects of basic building maintenance and general repairs, as well as good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety management systems.
The Facilities Manager will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and the Chief Operations Officer to support the strategic running of the estate and the successful delivery of all capital projects. They will also be responsible for promoting a positive H&S culture across the school and representing the school on the Trust Health and Safety Committee.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and independently without supervision. They will also have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

- Skills in all aspects of basic building maintenance and general repairs
- Good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety management systems
- Good computer literacy and ability to use a range of Microsoft products
- Ability to work effectively and independently without supervision
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
