Senior Facilities Manager

A new role within the TE Operational Team providing professional technical and engineering operational facilities expertise is required. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing site facilities, ensuring compliance obligations are adhered to, overseeing asset management, waste and stores, site security and safety, and site efficiency. You will also oversee site improvements to deliver staff wellbeing, and be responsible for delivering production, laboratory, and research spaces to support the strategic objectives of TE across various international locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage site facilities, ensuring compliance obligations are adhered to
- Oversee asset management, waste and stores, site security and safety, and site efficiency
- Oversee site improvements to deliver staff wellbeing
- Deliver production, laboratory, and research spaces to support the strategic objectives of TE
In conjunction with the Head of Risk and Assurance, you will develop and maintain TE's business resilience strategy and plan. You will also negotiate with landlords and ensure regulatory compliance, create and execute facilities management strategies, and lead on all aspects of the company's strategic site development.
Requirements:- Good management skills, an ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience with various systems including Heating, Cooling, HV, LV, Lighting, Power distribution, Ventilation, Control, Domestic Water, Fire, Air conditioning, and Water Hygiene of Closed and Domestic Systems
- Comfortable with Compliance - Statutory / Regulatory / Codes / Building Regulations
- Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years design experience in the building services industry
