Position Overview:

The HR Technology Sales and Service Account Consultant plays a pivotal role within the HR Tech Support team, which is part of the Group Benefits Sales & Relationship Management division. This position reports directly to the Director of Technology Partnerships and is essential in assisting our Technology Vendor Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of Existing Client Accounts: Aid the Vendor Manager in overseeing, auditing, and addressing customer-related concerns.
  • Engage with clients and brokers regarding billing and eligibility inquiries, resolving discrepancies effectively.
  • Ensure the precision of vendor invoices in accordance with our contractual obligations, including auditing for accuracy and managing payment processes.
  • Collaborate across departments to guarantee the integrity of our business reporting and accurate tracking of client groups.
  • Verify client rates and plan specifications to maintain administrative correctness.
  • Establish, document, and uphold best practices concerning contract management and team operations.
  • Provide support for financial reporting and budgeting activities.
  • Process Enhancement & Change Management: Collaborate with the technology team across Group Benefits functions to prioritize the needs of our external vendors.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Group Benefits is preferred.
  • Comprehension of business vision and strategic objectives.
  • Proven ability to translate business strategies into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, capable of working across various functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success in influencing stakeholders and managing expectations.
  • Ability to engage with customers and brokers to drive favorable outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the sales cycle and processes.
  • Experience with customer analytics, insights, and reporting is advantageous.
  • Licensing in Life and Health may be necessary.

Work Arrangement:

This role offers flexibility with Hybrid or Remote work options. Candidates residing near office locations are expected to work in-office three days a week, while those living further away will have a remote arrangement with occasional office visits as business needs arise.

Compensation:

The annualized base pay range for this position is based on market analysis of similar roles. Actual compensation may vary based on performance, proficiency, and required competencies. The base pay is one aspect of The Hartford's comprehensive compensation package, which may also include bonuses, long-term incentives, and recognition rewards.
