Position Overview:

The HR Technology Sales and Service Account Consultant plays a pivotal role within the HR Tech Support team, which is part of the Group Benefits Sales & Relationship Management division. This position reports directly to the Director of Technology Partnerships and is essential in assisting our Technology Vendor Managers with various responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of Existing Client Accounts: Aid the Vendor Manager in tracking, auditing, and resolving customer-related concerns.
  • Engage with clients and brokers regarding billing and eligibility issues, ensuring discrepancies are addressed and resolutions communicated.
  • Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices in relation to contractual obligations, conduct audits for precision, and oversee payment processing and expense forecasting.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate reporting of our client accounts and maintain proper tracking of groups.
  • Confirm client rates and plan design features to guarantee administrative correctness.
  • Establish, document, and uphold best practices for managing contracts and team processes.
  • Provide support for financial reporting and budgeting initiatives.
  • Process Improvement and Change Management: Collaborate with the technology team across Group Benefits functions to prioritize the needs of external vendors.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Group Benefits is preferred.
  • Comprehension of business vision and strategic direction.
  • Proven ability to translate business strategies into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple and shifting priorities effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, capable of working across various functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and manage expectations.
  • Ability to interact with clients and brokers to drive successful outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the sales cycle and processes.
  • Experience with customer analytics, insights, and reporting is advantageous.
  • Licensing in Life and Health may be necessary.

Work Arrangement:

This role offers the flexibility of a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates residing near office locations are expected to work in-office three days a week, while those living further away will have a remote arrangement with occasional office visits as business needs arise.

Compensation:

The annualized base pay range for this position is based on market analysis of similar roles. Actual compensation may vary based on performance, proficiency, and demonstration of required competencies. The base pay is one component of The Hartford's comprehensive compensation package, which may also include bonuses, long-term incentives, and recognition rewards.
