Position Overview:

The HR Technology Sales and Service Consultant plays a vital role within the HR Tech Support team, which is part of the Group Benefits Sales & Relationship Management division. This position reports directly to the Director of Technology Partnerships and is essential in assisting our Technology Vendor Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of Existing Client Accounts: Aid the Vendor Manager in overseeing, auditing, and addressing customer-related matters.
  • Engage with clients and brokers regarding billing and eligibility inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and communicating solutions.
  • Ensure the accuracy of vendor invoices in relation to our contractual obligations, conducting audits, processing payments, and tracking expenses.
  • Collaborate across departments to maintain precise reporting of our client accounts and ensure accurate tracking of groups.
  • Verify client rates and plan design features to guarantee administrative precision.
  • Establish, document, and uphold best practices for managing contracts and team processes.
  • Support financial reporting and budgeting initiatives.
  • Process Enhancement & Change Management: Collaborate with the technology team across Group Benefits functions to prioritize the needs of our external vendors.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Group Benefits is preferred.
  • Understanding of business vision and strategic direction.
  • Proven ability to translate business strategies into actionable outcomes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple and shifting priorities effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, working across various functional groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and manage expectations.
  • Experience interacting with customers and brokers to drive successful outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the sales cycle and processes.
  • Experience with customer analytics, insights, and reporting.
  • Licensing in Life and Health may be necessary.

Work Arrangement:

This role offers the flexibility of a Hybrid or Remote work setup. Candidates residing near office locations are expected to work in-office three days a week, while those further away will have a remote arrangement with occasional office visits as business needs arise.

Compensation:

The annualized base pay range is determined based on an analysis of similar roles in the market. Actual compensation may vary based on performance, proficiency, and the demonstration of required competencies. The base pay is one aspect of The Hartford's comprehensive compensation package, which may also include bonuses, long-term incentives, and recognition rewards.
