Position: HR Data Assistant

Location: Team Valley, Gateshead

The HR Data Assistant is essential in producing regular management information reports throughout the Churchill Group and will assist the HR department in the digital transformation of workflows and protocols. Reporting directly to a HR Data Analyst within the Human Resources shared services team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering data-driven decision-making and enhancing organizational success.

This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about data management and analysis, eager to learn, and ready to influence employee and business operations positively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extracting and manipulating data from specialized systems and databases.
  • Creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI.
  • Assisting the HR Data Analyst in documenting requirements for new processes, procedures, and projects.
  • Supporting beta testing of solutions within the organization, recording feedback, and proposing enhancements.
  • Overseeing current digital solutions, which includes user support, data cleansing, user permissions, and ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Contributing to the establishment and implementation of data quality standards and best practices.
  • Assisting the organization in the rollout of a future HRIS system and other initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A strong desire for self-improvement to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally using clear language that is easily understood by users.
  • Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, particularly with intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and communication skills.
  • Capacity to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Ability to handle interactions with patience and objectivity.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience in supporting the implementation of an HRIS system.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet.
