We are currently looking for dedicated Interim Culinary Operations Managers to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Effective Oversight: Manage the entire catering operation to ensure consistent, high-quality food and beverage services.
- Client Engagement: Foster a positive relationship with clients, maintaining regular communication to understand their needs and any adjustments required.
- Team Management: Recruit, develop, and lead team members, addressing absenteeism, conducting performance evaluations, and delivering necessary training.
- Financial Management: Oversee labor costs and food expenditures, collaborating with your Area Manager to proactively meet financial targets.
- Service Coordination: Ensure seamless planning of operations and resources to provide outstanding service to clients and customers.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legislative/regulatory standards (e.g., allergens, nutritional information).
- Experience: Previous experience in contract catering within a retail or similar environment is preferred, though we provide training for candidates with transferable skills.
- Culinary Skills: Experience in a kitchen setting, following recipes and menu specifications.
- Leadership Qualities: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, driving them towards success.
- Client Relations: Experience in managing client interactions effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels.
- Results-Driven: Focused on quality and processes, with a commitment to achieving results.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with company policies and procedures, particularly in relation to client agreements.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in MS Office and email communication.
