About the Position

This role is situated within the Leeds City College environment.
We are looking for a Culinary Operations Manager to become a part of the Food Service and Catering Division, which is essential to enhancing the student experience. Our collective goal is to foster an atmosphere that paves the way for a brighter future through inspiring actions that transform lives. The principles that guide our team include trust, integrity, compassion, fairness, and inclusion, which are reflected in our daily operations. The catering division operates in a dynamic, industrious setting characterized by positivity and enjoyment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and create all meals and snacks for the Café, ensuring that menus are both innovative and nutritious, and tailored to meet customer needs. Efficiently oversee the Café to deliver a superior quality service. Manage the catering team and address any staffing challenges effectively. Regularly collect feedback from customers to enhance and improve service delivery. Accurately document purchasing invoices and manage inventory to meet budgeted gross profit. Inspire and train the team of Food Service Assistants to ensure they deliver exceptional service to our customers and students.Candidate Profile
Proficiency in English and Mathematics at level 2 or higher. Relevant experience and understanding of culinary practices within the catering, hospitality, and food production sectors. Basic Food Hygiene certification. Proven ability to produce a variety of high-quality products within tight timeframes. Capability to adhere to Food Hygiene protocols and monitor compliance records.Employee Benefits
