We are in search of a Culinary Operations Manager to become a vital part of our Food Service and Catering Division, which significantly contributes to the overall student experience. The catering division is characterized by a dynamic, industrious atmosphere that thrives on optimism and enjoyment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks for the Café, ensuring that menus are both innovative and nutritious, catering to the preferences of our clientele. Efficiently oversee the Café operations, delivering exceptional service quality. Lead the catering team and address any staffing challenges effectively. Regularly solicit feedback from patrons to enhance and refine service delivery. Maintain accurate records of purchasing invoices and manage inventory to meet budgetary goals. Inspire and train the team of Food Service Assistants to ensure they deliver top-notch service to our customers and students.Candidate Profile
Proficiency in English and Mathematics at level 2 or higher. Relevant experience and understanding of culinary practices within the catering, hospitality, and food production sectors. Basic Food Hygiene certification. Proven ability to produce a diverse range of high-quality products within tight timeframes. Competence in adhering to Food Hygiene protocols and monitoring compliance records.Employee Benefits
