Responsibilities

As a Payroll Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing payroll, including starters, leavers, amendments, and tax code changes
  • Maintaining Court Orders, SIP, and Sharesave
  • Liaising with external payroll providers and managing the relationship
  • Managing the Payroll shared mailbox and responding to queries
  • Reconciling and managing Auto Enrolment and Pension data
  • Providing advice to managers on best practice for maintaining SAP Time
  • Supporting the business in relevant project initiatives
  • Staying up-to-date with relevant Payroll legislation and best practice
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in Payroll Services, including understanding of statutory payments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Intermediate Excel skills as a minimum
  • Knowledge of SAP HR would be an advantage
  • Ability to develop solutions to problems and identify process improvement opportunities
