Dedicated Administrator for Care Home Management

About the Role
Barchester Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Administrator to join our team and contribute to the efficient running of our care homes. As a key member of the management team, you will provide vital support and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities
• Promote a warm and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors
• Manage customer enquiries and showrounds, maintaining accurate records for commercial performance
• Drive occupancy and reputation of the care home through community engagement
• Support resident and family feedback, focusing on customer care
• Assist with staff recruitment, employment checks, and inductions
• Prepare payroll for home-based staff
• Provide HR guidance and support to employees
• Maintain secure storage of personal files
• Attend meetings and record accurate notes and minutes
• Ensure timely completion of rotas
• Manage safe contents, petty cash, and resident fund accounts
• Update staff records with training, supervisions, and appraisals
• Offer guidance on staff development opportunities
Requirements
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role
• Background in HR administration and recruitment
• High attention to detail and prioritization skills
• Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• CIPD qualification advantageous
