KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT:
• Collaborate closely with your Merchandiser to oversee multiple product categories
• Progress to managing a specific sub-category if you are at a senior or established level
• Analyze trading and reporting tools, contributing actionable insights to the broader team
• Utilize your analytical skills to interpret key performance indicators, identifying strengths and areas of concern
MANAGEMENT TASKS INCLUDE:
• Overseeing sizing, ratios, rebuys, intake, and new product introductions
• Monitoring and managing stock levels with a keen awareness of inventory coverage
• Confidently re-attribute WSSI data
• Proposing strategies for stock transfers, phasing, or cancellations
• Coordinating the critical path and delivery timelines with the wider team
• Reviewing and implementing promotional strategies and markdowns
