About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandising Coordinator to join our team at Sosandar. As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Merchandise Director with ad-hoc analysis, in-season and pre-season planning, and critical path management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update Monday Trading reports and distribute to the Buying and Merchandising team and Directors.
  • Identify highlights and lowlights from the previous week and suggest key actions for the Merchandiser.
  • Follow up on actions from Trade meetings with relevant teams and report back to the Merchandiser.
  • Support the Merchandiser with ad-hoc analysis when requested.
  • Support the Merchandise Director with in-season and pre-season planning.
  • Own and manage the critical path to ensure all intake is on track and any amendments or delays are flagged to the Merchandiser.
  • Raise all POs for the department.
  • Ensure systems are up to date with all PO amendments and new intake dates when agreed with suppliers.
  • Highlight to the Merchandiser any lateness or rolling intake and suggest actions to take from this.
  • Take ownership of tracking intake for key launches and provide updates to the wider teams.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and update internal documents with accurate dates and booking information.
  • Provide size breakdowns and ratios for repeat orders to be raised from.
  • Review sales for external partners and highlight any fast or slow sellers to the Merchandiser alongside suggested actions.
  • Review stock and availability for any selections by Buying or External Partners.
  • Update WSSI/Line cards and review actions to be taken.
About You
  • Relevant experience in a Merchandising position is desirable.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience of Power BI and Power Query would be an advantage.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize workload.
  • Strong attention to detail and eye for accuracy.
  • Proactive and adaptable.
