Salary: 24,835.20 per Annum / 11.94 per Hour, 40 hours per Week (5 days)

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Conference Host to enhance our vibrant team.

In this position, you will serve as the primary representative for our conference and meeting facilities, ensuring that every aspect of our service aligns with the highest standards of quality. Your responsibilities will include welcoming and engaging with attendees, confirming event details, managing room arrangements, and maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the conference spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegate Engagement: Warmly welcome attendees and provide essential event information, including room configurations, break schedules, and facility details.
  • Facility Oversight: Guarantee that all conference areas are kept in pristine condition, including signage, cleanliness, and the arrangement of spaces such as dining and meeting areas.
  • Event Management: Confirm and supervise room arrangements based on specific event needs, ensuring that all elements of the event environment are set up prior to guest arrival.
  • Safety and Regulations: Clearly communicate house policies, emergency protocols, and facility features such as evacuation routes and restroom locations.
  • Catering Services: Ensure the seamless delivery of meals, whether in a dining or conference context, and promptly address any catering-related concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, event coordination, or customer service is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A proactive mindset towards problem-solving and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations is advantageous.
