Salary: 24,835.20 per Annum / 11.94 per Hour, 40 hours per Week (5 days)

We are looking for a dedicated and engaging Conference Services Host to become an integral part of our vibrant team.

In this position, you will serve as the primary representative for our conference and meeting spaces, ensuring that every facet of our service adheres to the highest standards of quality. Your responsibilities will include welcoming and interacting with attendees, confirming event details, managing room arrangements, and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of the conference venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegate Engagement: Warmly welcome attendees and provide them with essential event information, including room arrangements, break schedules, and facility details.
  • Venue Oversight: Maintain all conference areas to the highest standards, including signage, cleanliness, and setup of spaces such as dining and meeting areas.
  • Event Management: Confirm and supervise room arrangements according to specific event needs, ensuring that all elements of the event environment are prepared prior to guest arrival.
  • Safety Protocols: Clearly communicate house rules, emergency procedures, and facility information such as evacuation routes and restroom locations.
  • Catering Coordination: Ensure the seamless service of meals, whether in a dining or conference context, and promptly address any catering-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in hospitality, event coordination, or customer service is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations is advantageous.
