Hospitality Event Facilitator

Salary: 24,835.20 per Annum / 11.94 per Hour, 40 hours per Week (5 days)

We are looking for a dedicated and engaging Hospitality Event Facilitator to enhance our vibrant team.

In this position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our conference and meeting spaces, ensuring that every detail of our service adheres to the highest standards of quality. Your responsibilities will include welcoming and engaging with attendees, confirming event details, managing room arrangements, and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of all conference areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attendee Engagement: Warmly welcome attendees and provide comprehensive event information, including room configurations, break schedules, and facility features.
  • Facility Oversight: Maintain all conference spaces to the highest standards, ensuring proper signage, cleanliness, and setup of areas such as dining and meeting rooms.
  • Event Management: Verify and oversee room arrangements based on specific event needs, ensuring that all elements of the event space are prepared prior to guest arrival.
  • Safety and Regulations: Clearly communicate house policies, emergency protocols, and facility information such as evacuation routes and restroom locations.
  • Catering Coordination: Ensure efficient meal service, whether in a dining or conference context, and promptly address any service-related concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in hospitality, event coordination, or customer service is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards is advantageous.
