We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Conference Services Host to enhance our vibrant team.
In this position, you will serve as the primary representative for our conference and meeting facilities, ensuring that every element of our service adheres to the highest standards of quality. Your responsibilities will include welcoming and engaging with attendees, confirming event details, managing room arrangements, and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of the meeting spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delegate Engagement: Warmly welcome attendees and provide them with essential event information, including room configurations, break schedules, and facility features.
- Facility Oversight: Maintain all conference areas to the highest standards, including signage, cleanliness, and the setup of spaces such as dining and meeting areas.
- Event Management: Confirm and oversee room arrangements according to specific event needs, ensuring that all aspects of the environment are prepared prior to guest arrival.
- Safety and Compliance: Clearly communicate house rules, emergency protocols, and facility information such as evacuation routes and restroom locations.
- Catering Services: Ensure the seamless delivery of meals, whether in a dining or conference context, and promptly address any catering-related concerns.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in hospitality, event management, or customer service is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of accountability.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations is advantageous.
