Clinical Research Support Specialist

Position Overview
The Clinical Research Support Specialist will be an integral member of the Research and Innovation management team. Reporting to the R&I Manager, this role serves as a vital connection between various Clinical Management Groups, research sites, and external organizations.
Collaborating closely with Sponsors and clinical staff, the Specialist will ensure that all research studies are adequately prepared for institutional authorization.
The individual in this role will implement national best practices in research management, ensuring local systems and processes are effectively integrated for optimal efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Research Support Specialist will:
- Oversee the review, setup, and submission of studies for R&I Authorization in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about relevant legislation and ensure compliance with national best practices in research management.
- Act as the primary contact for investigators and external Sponsors, providing necessary guidance and support.
- Exhibit adaptability and initiative, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse staff levels.
- Manage time effectively and maintain flexibility in working hours as required.
- Explore opportunities to gain expertise in various research specialties, potentially working across different research areas as needed.
