Job Overview

Oculus Technology Solutions is seeking a seasoned Technical Operations Manager to lead their technical team and oversee service delivery. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of project engineers and helpdesk staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring service delivery meets agreed-upon SLAs and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and manage the service desk and project teams, ensuring service delivery meets agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement and optimize IT service management (ITSM) processes to enhance service delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical issues, leading resolution efforts during major incidents.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical operations management, with a strong background in IT service management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and optimize service delivery.
  • Experience with ITSM tools and technologies, including Azure, Office 365, and IP networking.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to drive business growth and strategic initiatives.
