Join a reputable engineering firm that is currently seeking a skilled Technical Operations Manager to enhance their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities – Technical Operations ManagerOversee the management, development, and launch of innovative products, ensuring profitability and efficiency while adhering to project timelines.
Collaborate with clients to address engineering concerns related to products, including the preparation of Non-Conformance to drawing approval requests (Deviation Permit, MVA, Concession, etc.).
Lead a team of CAD/CAM and manufacturing engineers to facilitate the transition of new and existing products to the production floor.
Strategically formulate a technology roadmap for the organization, considering new business development and requirements.
Work alongside facilities management to ensure CNC systems are equipped to produce parts Right First Time (RFT).
Develop and execute plans for out-of-hours operations on designated CNC systems.
Flexibility to work alternative shifts or hours may be required.
You may also be tasked with additional reasonable duties or specific projects as directed by management.
Engage with clients on engineering matters, particularly with customer Manufacturing Engineers.
Qualifications & Experience – Technical Operations ManagerPossess technical expertise in Design & Manufacturing Engineering, supported by a relevant professional qualification (BSc, BEng, MSc) in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical).
Strong understanding of technical drawings (GD&T, special processes, coating).
Proficient IT skills (MS Office).
Extensive experience in Engineering with a proven track record in a leadership role, demonstrating significant improvements in cost and quality of engineering systems.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with CNC systems, including 3/4/5 axis Milling, Turning, and Grinding.
