Role Summary
This position is pivotal in ensuring the technical integrity of our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will serve as a crucial link between production, engineering, and external stakeholders, ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and legal standards, implementing a comprehensive traceability system.
- Lead and mentor the site Technical Team, fostering a culture of best practices.
- Oversee the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process.
- Promote and enhance best practices within the organization.
- Chair the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) team.
- Manage the site's Food Safety Quality Management System (FSQMS).
- Maintain top-tier accreditation with BRCGS and other relevant standards.
- Analyze trends and data to drive continuous improvement in business operations.
- Engage actively in the New Product Development (NPD) process from concept through to launch.
- Contribute to a proactive health and safety culture on-site.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in managing a technical team within a food manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with BRCGS and retailer audit processes.
- HACCP Level 3 certification or higher.
- Food Safety Level 3 certification or higher.
- A degree in Food Science or a related discipline is advantageous but not mandatory.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
This role offers a standard workweek of 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary and performance-based bonus structure.
