About The Role

Motability Operations is seeking a skilled Management Information Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position plays a crucial role in delivering insightful management information (MI) to enhance the performance of Vehicle Remarketing (VRM) against essential metrics.

The successful candidate will develop a comprehensive understanding of the reporting requirements across various sectors within VRM, creating engaging self-service solutions utilizing Oracle Analytics (OAS). Continuous performance monitoring and proactive identification of improvement opportunities will be key components of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist operational leaders within VRM to promote efficiencies and enhancements against critical metrics.
  • Deliver self-service solutions that empower business partners with visibility into key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities and risks, developing reporting tools that establish effective controls.
  • Adopt a practical approach to problem-solving while fulfilling business requirements, consistently seeking ways to enhance processes and boost efficiency.
  • Regularly assess and oversee the quality of reporting, addressing any underlying data issues to ensure our data consumers are informed and that resolutions are implemented.
  • Support the initiative framework within VRM, providing insights into potential and realized benefits of all initiatives and trials within Commercial Operations.
  • Assist senior management in prioritizing initiatives and clearly articulating capacity constraints.
  • Establish a governance framework across VRM to maintain high data quality standards and offer management visibility of potential detriments.
  • Engage with team leads, managers, data scientists, delivery managers, scrum masters, and other stakeholders to ensure effective technical delivery for our clients.
  • Take ownership of identifying and mitigating technical risks.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between business and programme/MI stakeholders.

About You

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Management Information Analyst role, utilizing Oracle Analytics tools or similar data visualization software. You should be adept at collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to identify their specific needs and deliver actionable MI solutions and insights. Comfort with large datasets and a collaborative team approach are essential.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Experience with OAS or comparable data visualization software.
  • A broad MI skill set, including proficiency in VBA, Macros, and SQL for driving insights and reporting outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Experience in providing self-service solutions.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with all levels of staff and external partners.
  • Capability to make informed recommendations and decisions.
  • A collaborative team player who actively shares best practices in a technology-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and enthusiastic approach.
  • Able to work independently and manage a diverse workload efficiently.
