We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team at Clarke Willmott LLP. As a Junior Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the team in providing financial analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide financial analysis and support to the Financial Planning and Analysis team and senior finance members.
- Work with the FP&A Manager and Finance Analyst to deliver standard management information reporting packs in line with existing month-end processes.
- Assist in the production of monthly KPI reporting, including billing, WIP, open debt, matters opened, and direct costs.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis across the firm's fee-earning teams and support function teams as requested by the Finance Controller and Finance Director.
- Support the Finance Analyst and FP&A Manager during the production and collation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with the continuous development of the existing reporting suite, including input in the design and testing of reports and dashboards.
- Have an Honours degree (first class or 2:1), preferably in a numerate subject (or equivalent).
- A Levels or equivalent vocational study and an interest in pursuing an accountancy qualification such as CIMA or ACCA.
- SQL experience would be an advantage.
- An awareness of accounting principles would be beneficial but not essential.
