About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Human Resources to join our Corporate Leadership Team at Victim Support Scotland. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving forward our people initiatives and supporting our strategic and operational plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our organisational goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage a small team of HR professionals to provide high-quality HR services across the organisation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuous review and improvement of our people practices
  • Provide HR and L&D support to help shape our organisational culture and drive business performance
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and maintain excellent knowledge of employment law and best practice

Requirements

  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with experience of managing a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong HR expertise, with a deep understanding of employment law and best practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, with a solution-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a CIPD professional qualification at Chartered level
