About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Human Resources to join our Corporate Leadership Team at Victim Support Scotland. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving forward our people initiatives and supporting our strategic and operational plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our organisational goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage a small team of HR professionals to provide high-quality HR services across the organisation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuous review and improvement of our people practices
  • Provide HR and L&D support to employees at all levels of the organisation
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including employment law and best practice
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably in a charity or not-for-profit organisation
  • Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) professional qualification at Chartered level
  • Excellent understanding and practical knowledge of employment law and best practice
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels
