About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Reception Team as an Administrative Support Officer. This is a key role within our Hospital, providing administrative support and general reception cover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Reception Team, including answering telephone enquiries, dealing with visitor queries, and managing the reception area.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in Estates & Facilities, Medical Engineering, Domestics, Catering, Laundry, Maintenance, Porters, and Drivers to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, visitors, and staff to provide a high-quality customer experience.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Reception Team.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Proven experience in a reception or administrative role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
