About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Officer to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide comprehensive typing support services to our Care Group, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend meetings, take minutes, gather information, and distribute agendas.
  • Ensure all correspondence outputs meet the quality and professional standards set by the department.
  • Perform general office duties, including filing, photocopying, scanning, faxing documentation, and providing telephone cover to the department as required.
  • Retrieve information to support patient pathway management.
  • Maintain safe and secure systems in relation to documentation, in accordance with governance procedures.
  • Undertake annual appraisal and mandatory training as required by the Trust.
  • Perform other duties as may be required.

Qualifications

Essential

  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in a relevant area.

Experience

Essential

  • Previous clerical experience.

Desirable

  • Previous NHS experience.

Knowledge

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the NHS, including IPM, ICE, and Choose and Book systems.

Skills

Essential

  • IT skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
