Administrative Support Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Officer to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide comprehensive typing support services to our Care Group, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities- Attend meetings, take minutes, gather information, and distribute agendas.
- Ensure all correspondence outputs meet the quality and professional standards set by the department.
- Perform general office duties, including filing, photocopying, scanning, faxing documentation, and providing telephone cover to the department as required.
- Retrieve information to support patient pathway management.
- Maintain safe and secure systems in relation to documentation, in accordance with governance procedures.
- Undertake annual appraisal and mandatory training as required by the Trust.
- Perform other duties as may be required.
Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ 3 or equivalent in a relevant area.
Experience
Essential
- Previous clerical experience.
Desirable
- Previous NHS experience.
Knowledge
Desirable
- Knowledge of the NHS, including IPM, ICE, and Choose and Book systems.
Skills
Essential
- IT skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
