Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Officer to join our team at NHS Jobs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive clerical support to the service, exercising independent judgment and using initiative as required.
  • Work with the minimum of supervision, maintaining confidentiality at all times when dealing with patient/staff information.
  • Support the Operational Manager on a day-to-day basis, providing a confident and professional service to all patients and their parents/carers.
  • Attend meetings as required, taking and transcribing minutes within locally agreed timescales.
  • Deal effectively with all incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Collate data for Key Performance Indicators for team monitoring and ordering of stock.
  • Allocate referrals to the correct community team, ensuring seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Excellent administrative skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in using administrative software and systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
