Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Lead to evaluate and enhance the methodologies employed in Medserv's UK Billing Operations, aiming to elevate client satisfaction and improve overall operational efficiency.

In this capacity, you will scrutinize existing practices and quality metrics from diverse systems and operational areas, utilizing this data to establish and integrate a robust quality management framework.

As the organization adopts various accredited standards, you will spearhead or assist in these implementations, leveraging your technical expertise in ISO9001/14001/27001, while ensuring adherence to established requirements.

To excel in this role, you should be an effective and influential communicator, skilled in business analysis, with the personal fortitude and experience necessary to drive transformation within a dynamic, high-growth SME environment.

Your understanding of excellence in financial services will enable you to swiftly identify and implement strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and operational productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance client satisfaction by minimizing operational challenges.
  • Establish and execute the Medserv UK Quality Management Framework.
  • Develop and implement the Medserv UK Document Management System (SharePoint).
  • Lead the implementation of ISO9001 within designated timelines.
  • Support the implementation of ISO27001/14001 standards.
  • Collaborate closely with operational and client-facing teams to ensure comprehensive resolution of client issues, focusing on both corrective and preventive measures.
  • Guide and mentor Business Managers in quality management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with various accreditation standards.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities related to client satisfaction within the business.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated understanding of excellence in financial services.
  • Previous experience in transforming systems and culture within high-growth SME environments.
  • Proficient knowledge of ISO9001/14001/27001 standards, with implementation and audit experience; ideally, a trained or accredited lead auditor.
  • In-depth understanding of lean process optimization principles.
  • A practical and empathetic approach to the challenges faced by operational teams, capable of leading and inspiring others throughout the transformation process.
  • Persuasive communicator, able to influence change among managers and teams without direct authority.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including Pivot tables, large data analysis, and statistics).
  • Experience in SharePoint creation and administration.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence Reporting and Management Information Reporting (KPI derivation).
  • Understanding of relational databases (SQL/ODBC/Access) is advantageous.
  • Degree or MSc level education in a relevant field or substantial experience in a similar role.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (9 am-5 pm).
  • 35-hour work week compensated at a 40-hour rate.
  • All employment offers are contingent upon a valid work permit.

  • Initially office-based, with potential for hybrid work arrangements in the future.
