Position Summary:

We are in pursuit of a seasoned Quality Control Supervisor to evaluate and enhance the methodologies employed in Medserv's UK Billing Operations, aiming to elevate client satisfaction and improve overall operational efficiency.

In this capacity, you will scrutinize existing practices and quality metrics from diverse systems and operational areas, utilizing this data to establish and integrate a robust quality management framework.

As the organization adopts various accredited standards, you will lead or assist in these implementations, leveraging your technical expertise in ISO9001/14001/27001, and subsequently ensuring adherence to established requirements.

To excel in this role, you will need to be an effective and influential communicator, skilled in business analysis, with the personal fortitude and experience to drive change in a dynamic, high-growth small to medium-sized enterprise environment.

Your understanding of excellence in financial services will enable you to swiftly identify and implement strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and operational productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance client satisfaction by minimizing operational challenges.
  • Establish and execute the Medserv UK Quality Management Framework.
  • Develop and implement the Medserv UK Document Management System (SharePoint).
  • Lead the implementation of ISO9001 within designated timelines.
  • Support the implementation of ISO27001/14001 standards.
  • Collaborate closely with operational and client-facing teams to ensure comprehensive resolution of client issues, focusing on both corrective and preventive measures.
  • Guide and develop Business Managers in quality management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with various accreditation standards.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities related to client satisfaction within the business.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of quality standards in financial services.
  • Previous experience in transforming systems and culture within high-growth SMEs.
  • Proficient knowledge of ISO9001/14001/27001 standards, with implementation and auditing experience; ideally a trained or accredited lead auditor.
  • Well-versed in lean process optimization, with a profound grasp of lean principles.
  • A practical and empathetic approach to the challenges faced by operational teams, capable of leading and motivating others throughout the transformation process.
  • Persuasive communicator – while you may not have direct reports initially, you must be able to influence and drive change among other managers and teams.
  • Proficient in MS Excel (including Pivot tables, large data set analysis, and statistics).
  • Experience in SharePoint creation and administration.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence Reporting and Management Information Reporting (including KPI derivation).
  • Understanding of relational databases (SQL/ODBC/Access) is advantageous.
  • Degree or MSc level education in a relevant field or substantial experience in a similar role.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (9 am-5 pm).
  • 35-hour work week compensated at a 40-hour rate.
  • All employment offers are contingent upon a valid work permit.

  • Primarily office-based initially, with potential for hybrid work arrangements later.
