About Us: First Central Services is a leading insurance company that relies on data-driven insights to drive our business forward. We're looking for a highly skilled Data Quality Assurance Manager to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of quality in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the QA department, ensuring efficient delivery of the QA service to the business.
  • Ensure all required internal and external audits are completed within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and provide management with agreed action plans to positively influence productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Provide technical support to the QA team and other departments as needed.
  • Support risk mitigation and management control frameworks, highlighting any regulatory breaches to the QA Manager.
  • Conduct regular calibration sessions with QA Coordinators to ensure they are following company policies and procedures and are compliant with all relevant regulations.
  • Set SMART objectives for QA Coordinators, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews and annual appraisals.
  • Deal with employee matters, including monitoring absence, supporting the disciplinary process, and resolving employee issues with support from the QA Manager and HR when required.
  • Assist with recruitment and training of new team members or re-training of current employees as needed.
  • Provide feedback on company performance and ensure the team is kept up-to-date with all changes in products, prices, and underwriting.
  • Deputise for the QA Manager in their absence and hold the fort.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within a Quality Assurance environment, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and company principles.
  • Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate employees in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong IT skills within Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.
  • Organised, agile, and proactive approach with a flexible attitude to work and a positive attitude.
What We Offer:
  • Generous starting salary of £33,000, depending on experience.
  • Monday to Friday, no weekends.
  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 4 days from home and 1 day in the office after training.
  • £100 off your car insurance.
  • 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays and an extra 'You' day off for important occasions or just a day for you.
