Position: Youth Housing Support Manager

Location: Wirral

On-call: Required to participate in on-call rota
Salary: £32,696.40 - £43,793.04

For over 55 years, Talent Finder has been dedicated to providing safe and quality accommodation along with exceptional support services to the most vulnerable individuals in our society.

We focus on person-centered, supported housing across various regions, emphasizing specialized support services for individuals aged 18 and above who are at risk of homelessness, as well as care leavers aged 16 to 21.

As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective daily management of the organization's services through a dedicated team of staff.

Your role will involve delivering exemplary service by adhering to and promoting the organization's quality standards, procedures, values, and principles of continuous improvement.

The following qualifications are essential for this position:
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations
  • A minimum of 3 years in a management role
  • At least 2 years of experience with an Ofsted regulated provider
  • A degree in a relevant field
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality services
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  • Ability to organize and motivate a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in delivering written and verbal reports
  • Networking abilities and skills in promoting the organization positively
  • Understanding of Safeguarding Legislation
  • Demonstrable business and team management skills

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Effectively managing business functions and supporting development initiatives to align with the organization's Business Plan.
  • Leading, managing, supervising, and fostering professional development among staff in accordance with the Business Plan.
  • Ensuring that services provided to residents meet the highest quality standards by monitoring performance against internal and external benchmarks.
  • Implementing policies and processes within service delivery and contributing to the development of policy and service enhancements.

Housing Management:
  • Overseeing the management, maintenance, and health & safety of properties, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • For Ofsted registered sites, ensuring adherence to all regulations and standards, maintaining quality and consistency of service, and leading preparations for inspections.
