Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Manager to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a Housing Manager, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality housing management service to our customers, including providing tenancy advice, following up repairs, and promoting independent living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage low-level anti-social behavior, including attending evictions and managing the complaint process
  • Provide administrative support for the delivery of high-quality and value-for-money services
  • Deal with part of the lettings process, including viewings, pre-void inspections, and key management
  • Undertake compliance checks and scheme inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Work with external agencies, such as social workers, concerning additional support requirements and safeguarding referrals
  • Identify potential repairs or faults in the scheme and ensure they are reported and monitored

Requirements

  • Experience of working with older people or vulnerable client groups is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, allowing you to build strong relationships
  • The ability to work on your own initiative in a high-paced environment
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Housing management experience and basic knowledge of welfare benefits and rent accounts is desirable
  • A full valid driving license is essential
