Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMHC Teacher to join our team of highly qualified staff at a school in Wirral. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a Year 7 class, delivering a tailored curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a Year 7 class and deliver a tailored curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students with complex needs.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress, implementing interventions where necessary.
• Adapt teaching strategies and specific lesson plans to meet individual learning needs.
• Implement a range of strategies to promote student engagement and motivation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH difficulties.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Preferably fully inducted, however if you have previous experience supporting children outside of teaching this will be considered.
