The Executive Manager will oversee and direct all facets of the business operations in London, focusing on team leadership, comprehensive P&L accountability, and strategic growth initiatives. This position demands a dynamic leader committed to enhancing operational effectiveness, profitability, and market presence within a fast-paced, technology-driven setting.

Client Overview

  • We are collaborating with a Series D-funded, tech-driven scale-up based in the US, which operates in over 30 countries, to recruit an Executive Manager who will spearhead the growth of their flourishing business in London.
  • This company, valued at $1 billion, specializes in both B2B and B2C solutions through its innovative technology platform and is on a rapid growth trajectory, with London identified as a critical area for their upcoming expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and nurturing a high-performing team.
  • Setting city-specific objectives and targets, driving performance through clearly defined KPIs and incentive programs on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and customizing the business model to meet local market demands.
  • Establishing and sharing best practices across the organization to continuously improve global operational efficiency.
  • Acting as the company representative at local public relations and networking events.
  • Working closely with Product, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Client Experience teams to meet the unique needs of the local market.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in general management or operational roles.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a knack for inspiring and motivating team members.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach combined with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Extensive knowledge in P&L management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex data to make informed decisions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in strategy consulting firms such as Bain, McKinsey, or BCG.
  • Background in a high-growth startup environment.
