Position Overview
South Lanarkshire Council is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Sheltered Housing Officers. This role is crucial in providing support to elderly residents and those with special needs within our housing facilities.

Candidates should possess experience in working with vulnerable populations, ideally within a sheltered housing environment. A qualification such as an SVQ in Social Care or a related field is preferred.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong organizational skills, enabling them to manage their workload effectively while adapting to the dynamic needs of our residents. Excellent communication abilities are essential for liaising with various stakeholders and agencies.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate tenant records, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. As part of our commitment to professional development, employees will be encouraged to pursue further training and qualifications relevant to the housing support sector.

All candidates will undergo a PVG check through Disclosure Scotland prior to receiving a formal job offer.
