About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Specialist to join our team at Shelter Scotland. As a key member of our Communication & Policy Department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing a Marketing Communications plan for the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Marketing Communications strategy to raise awareness about the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership and its initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the wider Scottish Empty Homes Partnerships team to deliver the Marketing Communications plan and support the team with its objectives.
  • Create engaging content, including articles, social media posts, and multimedia content, to highlight the urgency of bringing empty homes back into use.
  • Provide analytics and insights to inform decision-making and improve the efficiency of our communications efforts.
  • Manage the brand and ensure consistency across all communications channels.

About You

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and creativity. You will have a proven track record of working in marketing and communications, with experience in project management and multimedia content creation. You will be comfortable working with external agencies and delivering high-quality content to different audiences.
